Finally my 'grid' drawing series has taken physical form!
Here, I've played with a really neat technique called 'water etching', involving masking a raised area, and then gently sponging the clay away from it, so that the material is raised. There is a pretty 'gloopy' yellow mango-coloured glaze on the inside of these delightfully wonky cubes.
